Coffee in China.

Serious topic.

Last time Jim and I took 2 pounds of coffee in our suitcase, and drank a multitude of cups at 2am in our hotel's tiny bathroom.

What?  The bathroom?  That is really strange...


Here's the context: sleeping toddler in main room.  2am China time = 2pm MN time= 2 wide awake foreigners!

So, where do you go to drink your coffee and chat?  The bathroom, of course!

This time, we are debating bringing the Via instant coffee from Starbucks.  Costco even sells a huge package of it now, so it would be easy to buy and bring.  It would take up much less space than our two pounds of coffee...

I'm sampling my options this morning.  And pretending I'm drinking it in China, with Emma Kate asleep  in the room.

Oh, I am really liking this.  Not so much the coffee, though! :)
