EMMA DAY!

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever!
Emma Day!
It is Emma Kate day!

Jim and I are up!  Today is the day.  Oh, our hearts!

Great night of sleep last night.  The ear plugs were the most insulating things, and none of us heard a peep from our crooning friends downstairs.  I didn't wake up once, which I'm still flabbergasted about, and very grateful for!  We all needed a good night's sleep.

Jim and I are going to have coffee and organize a bit.  We have a list of questions we need to finish compiling to ask Emma's caregivers.  Our hotel room overlooks Fuzhou's West Lake.  It is a very pretty view and we will enjoy sipping our morning coffee gazing out the window and dreaming of our girl that we will hold in our arms at last in nine and a half short hours.

Our day will most likely feel long and short.  We also have to go to the bank to exchange our US currency for RMB, as the orphanage donation needs to be in Chinese currency.  We also asked our guide to take us on a little trip to CarreFours (or the local Walmart) for some supplies.  We want to buy water bottles, some food provisions like noodle bowls (ramen), etc.

Nine and a half hours.  Nine hours and thirty minutes.  So, so, so, soooooooo soon.

We will post photos as soon as we can.  I'm going to teach Jeb how to take a photo and load it via my phone to the blog.  And we'll be calling Christine who will type it all into the blog.

Thank you, Lord, for this good day.  It is a gift from you.  We rejoice that your sovereign hand has brought it to pass.

Love from Sunday morning!!!!! (I've been waiting to type those words!),
