ensconsed in our hotel, ready for tomorrow! Thrilled to be here

We are happily cozied into our hotel, and in true DeBoer/Silburn fashion have unpacked and organized the room.  Cooper and Jeb obviously need to grow into their heritage.  They were both a bit bewildered about how to unpack in one hotel room with four of us.  I suppose knowing we are all on totally wacked time clocks adds to the hilarity.

Now we are (at 2:20am), eating some oatmeal and sipping sleepy time tea.  Off to a quick bedtime.

Up tomorrow: Great Wall, Jade Factory, Tea house (and we aren't buying $100 of tea like last time!) and something else that escapes us right now.  It'll be a full day!
Our guide, Christina, is lovely.  She has a 16 year old daughter, so it will be fun to compare teenage life in US and Beijing.  I know we will have a really good time with her, and we are so grateful Dick at IAAP steered us in her direction and made all the arrangements.

Can't believe we are in China!  So close to Emma Kate.  10,000 miles closer!

5 sleeps to Emma day!

We leave you with this...here's what happens when you fall asleep on the plane and your (naughty) brother sits near you.

KTG- Jeb WILL pay you back for this.

We are so excited for you! I keep checking in and love hearing about it all. We prayed for you at bible study on Monday. The kids have enjoyed seeing pictures of Emma and hearing what you are up to. Keep all of the updates coming and have fun!
