We've eaten noodle bowls, had a bath, squeezed into not-quite-big-enough new underpants, donned much loved new pajamas, and just gave mom a unsolicited big kiss on the cheek.
After a brief - but intense - bit of crying when the orphanage nannies left, things here are now going unbelievably well.
Coloring books seem to be a favorite, and now Cooper claims that she really likes this Chinese kid TV show involving "Pleasant Sheep and the Big Goat" or something like that. Picture Sponge Bob meets charlotte's web and you're getting close. Truth is that she's not watching it at all, but Cooper is enjoying it immensely.
We're feeling very blessed right now.

HUGS and praying you get a wonderful nights sleep. Are they allowing you to visit the orphanage. If they say no, pull the Richards card :) Tell them that your very good friends that adopted JianFeng last month were able to go. It's the provincial officer that allows the visit. You will see him again tomorrow at Civil Affairs. He will remember us because 'we came so fast'...LOL...he kept telling us that. Have your guide ask him for permission. The orphanage director will remember us, too...especially because she allowed us to see Emma.
