That's all I've got.
I can't believe this school year is wrapping up. Finishing. Ending. Being completed.
In so many ways the year represents our Emma and her coming home.
Cooper and Jeb keep exclaiming that it went so quickly. I think being gone for three weeks to China in October surely sped things up for us all.
It flew by.
Where did it go?
So much has transpired.
Next year, four of the kids will attend a new school. Emma starts school! Cooper is in high school.
Today, Cooper said goodbye to Southview. He didn't seem too sad, just a little melancholy. That is so very appropriate.
Tomorrow Luke and Anna say goodbye to Highlands.
Our family has been at Highlands for nine years, most of that time with two to three kids enrolled at once! It has, in many ways, been a good place for us and we are grateful for all the growth that took place, the friendships our family has been blessed with, and the sweetness of a small school community like Highlands.
Next year is a whole new world! So tomorrow, we meet with great excitement that summer is here and a little bittersweet.
Isn't bittersweet chocolate the best? :)
We give thanks for the many ways God has led us so faithfully; both in the past and in the years to come. To Him we give great thanks and praise. He is good. So very good.
