a single week

in one week, we are getting on a plane and leaving for China!

in one week.
in seven days.
in 168 hours.
in 10,080 seconds.

God willing, in one week we are off to bring Emma Kate home!
Finally, the title of our blog is becoming true.
Emma Kate comes home!


All the paperwork and waiting along the way HAVE been bringing her home.  However, this final step is the one we've awaited and marked the most.  The culmination of all the work, all the prayers, all the hopes.  


Thank you, Lord, that we are here.  Now.  That Your timing is just right and our family is about to be united.  Forever.  


Here we come, Emma Kate!  And there's no going back!
