Emma Kate {in pictures}

Emma Kate's photographs from her photo shoot at Tiny Acorn arrived in the mail!

We had them taken just before her first surgery, in part to have a record of her beautiful self just as she was before her hands, leg and feet were forever changed.

Our desire was to be able to remember for ourselves, and to preserve for her in pictures proof of how sweet and lovely the Lord made her.  Perfectly crafted, beautifully fashioned. 

Here some of the images are! Because they are all copyrighted, I took pictures of the pictures with my iphone for you to see. Thus, the grainy images.  I hope, however, you are able to get a peek at how beautifully Laura captured our Emma Kate.

Look at her beautiful eyes and sweetest smile.  She has a face that truly enchants!  Her dear right fingers are so subtly captured in this photo.

 And this one?  Makes me teary every single time.  Look at her!  This picture, I think, so accurately depicts our Emma.  This one also shows her lovely little leg.  See the band on the left calf? Again, Laura captured Emma, and along the way preserved a picture of her calf as part of a beautiful picture.

And then there are these.  The two close up ones show her hands beautifully, along with the prettiest smile in Minnesota.  :)  And that last one?  Oh, sassafrass!  That is so Emma!  I see that pose all day long.  I love that Laura got it on film.  

Our hats are off and our hearts send great thanks to Laura and Tiny Acorn.  She is not only talented, but has such a heart herself.  We were really and truly blessed to work with her.

I can't wait to frame these and see them up on the walls.
